This course focuses on the theatre as an art form rather than a direct study as students explore various acting techniques to create authentic and heartfelt scenes with the goal of reaching catharsis  in oneself and the audience. Scene development and a notice to theatrical aspects are studied and utilized in order to create effective scenes. Students are given the chance to explore the characters and understand the role of the fourth wall in modern theatre practices.
